Tehillim I class 3: perek aleph

In the shiur we mentioned that the ברכות התורה are recited only once a day since there is no היסח הדעת from Torah learning - One doesn’t take his mind off the study of Torah even when he becomes involved in other activities.
Can you think of other aspects in our lives, as Jews, which should be constantly present in our consciousness?

see sefer hachinuch in his introduction to the mitzvos of the torah, quoted by biur halacha in the first page of mishne brura. He lists six constant mitzvos mostly regarding awareness of hashem and his involvement in our lives. In connection to this, note the pussuk "shivisi hashem lenegdi tamid" quoted by the rema in his first comment to the shulchan aruch on that page. Torah also fits into this idea, as that is hashem's direct communication to us and is the way for us to order our lives in a way that expresses our faith in hashem's constant involvement.
