Rabbi Teller asked a question about being prolific as fish on land. Land is not the best place for a fish to be. There is a fish called the Grunion.(I believe it is a kosher fish) It lays it's eggs in the sand on the sea shore. When I was a child growing up in California, I went to visit the Cabrillo Beach Marine museum. There I hatched fish eggs by shaking them up in a jar of sea water. It was a most amazing thing to look at the jar full of tiny eggs become a jar full of tiny fish. And then to free them into the ocean. What else was amazing was seeing the parent fish, thousands of them, swim up onto the shore, dig holes in the sand with their tails to lay their eggs at high tide and then flop their way back into the sea. Then the eggs would rest in the sand for approximately a few weeks to gestate, till the tide would rise again enough to shake them up, hatch them and carry them into the sea. I recommend seeing this in person to witness the handy work of HaShem. But if you can't get to Cabrillo Beach, Ca. You can see it on YouTube Grunion Run, Grunion Run 2007-Cabrillo Beach,CA ENJOY! P.S. Like fish on land probably means; Just like fish are multitudinous in the sea, Am Yisrael shall be multitudinous on land.
