Achieving Balance #15

My question(s) regards the following question that was asked : "Question:
My husband works full time and learns at night. Sometimes I don't push him out the door as quickly as I should in the evenings, because he offers to help with the kids and that feels good. Can you give me more clarity on how valuable my husband's learning is and how I should be pushing myself not to accept his help. I really want to move in that direction."
Rebbetzin Heller, I believe said that everything else that the husband can/would do at home i.e. put the kids to bed would not be indispensable/ he doesn't need to be doing that. My question is. Isn't it important for him to help out at home...but shouldn't all the Torah that he is learning be put to practice i.e. chessed which begins at home...yes, i know that learning is #1, but I seem to be getting the message (maybe I am misunderstanding) that basically the wife needs to forgo all help and not allow herself to rely on her husband unless in an extremely dire situation...If this is the correct message, I have a lot of trouble accepting and understanding this. If I miscontrued the message, please inform me of what it was meant to be.
Thank you!!

Thank you very much for your question. The question has been added to the list of pending questions and will be answered in our new upcoming Rebbetzin's Perspective class, 'Rebbetzin's Perspective part II class 1'.

Rebbetzin Heller was unable to address this question in class 1. She will hopefully address it in class 2.

I think that possibly my question mistakenly fell to the wayside as it was not addressed in #2 or #3 classes. If it can be address I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
