Dear Rebbetzin Smiles,

Thank you so much for this shiur.  I am deeply grateful for what you have given over.  The shiur contained so many astonishingly beautiful levels of depth that each time I thought it had reached its astounding conclusion, more was hiding behind!  I will have to listen to it again some time and make sure I missed nothing!

I had a thought on what you were saying that I wanted to share.  It could be that you said this already, so forgive me if that is the case.  It occurred to me that Rochel's silence in the face of Leah's statement that Rochel had taken Leah's husband was the proof that Rochel had given Leah the simanim l'sheim shamayim, because if she had answered Leah back, then it could be argued that Rochel held back the secret of having given over the simanim all these years, but on some level held that secret in her heart as something she "could" use to her own advantage if she needed to, even if she had never done so until now.  By not using the simanim now in her own defense, it shows that she truly had no intention of ever using what she had done to her own advantage, so there was absolutely no selfish motive at all hidden within the act.

Added the next day to this post:  I had another thought.  If Rochel had given the simanim in a 99% pure way, but 1% of herself had gaiva from doing such a great thing, in time that gaiva would grow.  14 years later, in a situation of duress, it would come out.  Since it did not, it shows here original act was pure.

Thanks again for the beautiul shiur!
Malka
