The things that impressed me the most about this class were:

1) That Rav Shlomo Zalman was so concerned about the problems the postman would have because of the honorifics on his letter.

2) That Rav Shlomo Zalman posted the funeral announcements himself.

3) That because his family had one of the first refrigerators in Eretz Yisrael Rav Shlomo Zalman was able to be one of the early poskim to deal with electricity.

I guess the fact that Hashem arranged this unlikely gift of a refrigerator to this particular tzaddik was clear hashgacha that Hashem was preparing a  means for our generation to obtain clear pesakim on the intricacies of technology as it pertains to halacha
