Wow, these classes are helping me so much. I don't think I've ever learned something as integral to my spiritual growth as these Meaning of Trust classes. When Rebbetzin Heller spoke about where one's emotional consciousness lies, about the person researching health issues to the bottom of it but "their tefilah will be dry and dead," I just stared at the screen and thought, That's me. The story about a trip to Ein Gedi and saying "now that we're in Yerushalayim what's the best way to spend the day" instead of believing in a vague sense that there must be a reason is also something I'm trying to take to heart.

Two questions: 1. What's ayin hara and why needn't we be afraid of it? I've heard so many answers about that and unfortunately don't remember them too well, but I'd really like to hear Rebbetzin Heller. And 2. Isn't it not the best thing to talk and wonder about other people's financial standing? (...that being taboo in the US)

Ayelet, thanks for your questions.  We have forwarded them to Rebbetzin Heller, and she will hopefully answer them soon.
