Meaning of Trust, Class 5, Questions

I have a few questions on this class.

By the part about Avraham's belief as tzedakah I got a bit lost.

Is it really possible that Avraham didn't have an all-encompassing faith for his other nisyonot?  Which nisayon was with the complete emunah that we're referring to? Where does the fiery furnace fit in?

Isn't chassidut going beyond obligation, and tzedakah being righteous within obligation? "Of course the emunah was a motivating factor in the nisyonot, but what made the nisyonot successes was his emunah." I don't really understand what this means.

The other part I wasn't sure about was: Why did David HaMelech feel better about not being the same as everybody else when he thought about the brit milah?

Veyiten Lecha- Yachzor Vyiten, Hashem will sometimes give and sometimes not.
and that's considered a Bracha!!!
Apparently, cognizance of our dependence on Hashem is a bracha.

Miriam, I find that concept amazing as well. And considering that, as Rebbetzin brought in, the "vav" symbolizes a straight and unwavering connection to Hashem, how appropriate is it to begin the Beracha with a "vav" in "Veyiten"!
