I liked the idea the Rebbetzin gave that there is simcha in overcoming evil.  "Hashem, I'm giving you my desire to speak loshon hara or my pride, etc. for you  to dispose of as you wish because all I want is closeness with you."
What a simcha to know that when we overcome our yetzer hara, Hashem is also a partner with us.  We are never alone!

lack of bitachon in areas of ruchniyus, amazing how it can be so challenging to trust Hashem to take us where He Himself Wants us to go! (or is it that a sign that our mitzvos aren't lishma??)

In situations, when the odds are pitted against us, and the statistics seems to indicate otherwise, a "Milchemes Hashem" seems like fighting a losing battle.
However, as Rebbetzin Heller expressed, when we reject statistics and nature and tap into the Koach of Bitachon, we can actually reverse Gezeiros! Now, that sounds like a battle worth fighting for and an ideal worth working towards!
