I have some questions on the Kitsur Shulchan Aruch shiur about avoiding saying HaShem's names even in Torah learning. What if the name is part of the name of a place (e.g. Beit-El)? What if the name refers to something other than HaShem (tzvaot can also mean armies)? What if the name is used in reference to idolatry (elohim acherim, etc.)? What if the name could mean either HaShem or something else in the same verse (like when Avraham says "Adonai" in the beginning of parashat Vayeira)?
