I really appreciate the idea of "starving the yetzer hara". When a person is feeling a sense of emptiness, they desperately want to fill that "void". But, as Rebbetzin Heller says, gratifying the desire with something that is not holy, creates an even stronger desire.
My question is, what if a person wants to go to the beach to see a beautiful sunset? It can be considered wasting time, but there's nothing wrong with it - in fact, they're appreciating Hashem's creation. But, it's not considered "holy". Is that filling the void and feeding the yetzer hara?
Thank you again, Jenna
