This really connects to what I was going over for the current parsha Tazria and our family event of a Bat Mitzvah. It's said that we have a goal that must be pursued for a lifetime-to be at a point where our spiritual side can speak w/equally loud voice as our physical side. The same kind of judgment in bringing peace b/t people in our everyday lives such as saying "hi" or knowing when to annul a vow (that perhaps no one else even knows about) is the same judgment we need to exercise when controlling lashon hara and preventing motze shamra, etc. The similarity is obvious even on a deeper level, Hashem is the shadow of our right hand and our actions cause a divine response so to w/lashon hara we used to merit to SEE a divine consequence upon ourselves from our actions. May we one day soon merit to get tzaraat again!
