Man, it is hard to figure out how to start a new topic here.  Time for the tech support to do some serious cheshbon nefesh.

The good questions just keep coming! I really enjoyed the session, and not just because Rbbtzn Heller answered my question too.  I have to admit, I was reminded of the opinion of the Alei Shur that women shouldn't study mussar because they're too hard on themselves already.  Fortunately, there are teachers with their feet on the ground to help us be bnot aliya without causing damage to ourselves and those close to us.

Personally, I tend to hold back on somewhat off-topic or personal questions at shiurim because, well, the people came to hear the speaker, not me.  Also, I think having to express one's problem in writing makes it easier for the person answering to get a clear picture of the problem.  Stating the problem clearly brings you halfway to the answer, or at least to being ready to hear it.
