The last 3 psukim of this mizmor at first seemed a little out of place to me. The rest of the mizmor is discussing Hashem's greatness first in creation (ie the sun) and then in the Torah. So why a Bakasha tacked on the end?

I think a resultion to my question is that if you first build your emuna by looking at the sun or into the Torah you will realize Hashem's power and it will be obvious that Hashem in the only place to turn with a request.
