In this shiur/mizmor the idea that one can always talk to Hashem is highlighted. It is a very powerful idea that the creator of the world is always available to listen to your seemingly insignificant thoughts. An advantage of talking to Hashem over a person is you can say anything at all. If you tell him about your faults or darkest secrets he won't think less of you because he already knows everything.
