At the start of this shiur my thought was: Another mizmor on bitachon. What about Hishtadlut? Does the Piytan assume you are doing maximum hishdatlut? or does the piytan assume hishtadlut is unnecessary? or something in between?
So my question is about Pasuk 13. Am I understanding it right? Does it say that one of the rewards for the ba'al bitachon is that he will: tread on the lion and the serpent, trample the cub and serpent. The ba'al bitachon on the higher level of the second segment of the mizmor gets to be proactive while the lower level of ba'al bitachon in the first segmant does not.
