Acts of spiritual heroism were common amongst the Jews within the hellish confinesof Nazi territory. Can you explain why some Jews rose to such spiritual heights of resistance and some were not able to?

A Jew imbued with the living faith of Hashem could overcome all suffering and torture while one who was never raised with the concepts of bitachon and emunah had an enormous challenge to try to reconcile the inhuman conditions he found himself in wiith the scant or even non existent knowledge he had of what it meant to be a Jew.
