It has been said that sanctification of life is more difficult than sanctification of death. Discuss this comment in ljght of what you have learnt in this class and the previous classes.


There is a question that is asked regarding Akeidas Yitzchok as to why the nisoyon is called Avrahom's and not Yitzchok's even though it was Yitzchok who was to be sacrificed. One of the Meforshim answer that it is easier to die for Hashem's name then to continue living. Avraham would have to face all the people he had convinced to cease offering their children to their idols. And still he went with a full heart to do Hashem's command.
