Fantastic preparation for Purim. I can't get over how Reb. Heller is so versatile. On the one hand so intellectual and brilliant and on the other hand listen to how she speaks straight to the heart of children.

I like where Reb. Heller emphasizes that whenthe Jews sinned it wasn’t so telling. The seudah was kosher for whoever wanted it. What was missing was the sensitivity. How could they enjoy the feast while Achashveirosh was publicly profaning Hashem's name? It makes me think, perhaps this is a message for us too. Are we keeping to the letter of the law and perhaps sometimes missing the spirit? When tragedy happens do we just go with life or do we stop and think what Hashem is trying to tell us?
