In this week's Parsha Korach, there is a Passuk about married women covering their hair, beside this Passuk and the Sotah there is no exact law saying that women should cover their hair. I have a duaghter that went to Sha'alvim last year. She currently attends Stern Honors Prog. She knows that I learn from your Parsha Shiurim from the time you lived here in LA. I am a long time Jewish Educator for preschool and Elementary school. Many times I have tried to take on this mitzvah but found it too difficult and so lapsed. I did not grow up orthodox, more like conservadox. I married a man who's parents are survivors and although consider themselves orthodox, are very modern. My husband bristles at the idea of me covering my hair. It genuinely upsets him. Now my daughter is beginning to date. She is "pressuring" me to cover my hair saying that if I consider myself to be Orthodox that is what I have to do. What do you suggest?
