    People who cut themselves are perhaps sick and may need medical help. If a person with is illness hears that they are filled with the yetzer hara because they cutting themselves, could G-d forbid do worse. I feel that Borderline Personality Disorder should be studied and taken into consideration before including them in with people who are angry from self love/arrogance, hence avoda zora. Thank you.
