In depth study of Masechet Brachot, elucidating the Gemara with the commentaries of the Medieval and later commentators. The shiur will present both a classical text-based elucidation of the Gemara, as well as a conceptual approach known as ‘lomdus’, of the topics covered. Basic reading skills and some familiarity with Gemara study required for the course.
