Chanukah Story
Rabbi Paysach Krohn tells a story heard from the famous Jerusalem maggid, Rabbi Shabsai Yudelevitz. About a century ago, in Milan, Italy, a poor scholar met a wealthy Jew who invited him home for Shabbat. The guest looked around and saw a small, broken, glass flask standing prominently out of place in a cupboard filled with exquisite silverware.
